Spring Hill
Spring Hill is an unincorporated community located in Hernando County, Florida. The community has no deed restrictions with most of the lots being 1/4 acre and below. However, there are several HOA communities sprinkled throughout it which include Avalon, Brookridge, East Linden Estates, Hernando Beach South, High Point, Lake in the Woods, River County, Pristine Place, Seven Hills, Silverthorn, Sterling Hills, anTimber Pines, Trillium, and Wellington. Spring Hill is a popular destination for buyers because of its affordable housing, easy access to Tampa via Suncoast/Veterans, and Pinellas County beaches via US19. Most major shopping, restaurants, and salons are located off SR 50 and within the Mariner and US 19 corridors.

The Suncoast Trail, used mostly for biking and walking, runs along the Suncoast Parkway and connects Citrus County to Hillsborough County. The Suncoast Trail can also take you to the Mermaid Trail that runs through Brooksville. Hernando County is nicknamed the Adventure Coast. Some popular outdoor activities include: kayaking the infamous Weeki Wachee River and Linda Peterson Park to Bayport. The Weeki Wachee Preserve is an old mining area turned into a preserve where you can experience nature by hiking the trails or fishing from the banks, and bird watching. The second and fourth Saturday of the month vehicles are allowed to drive into the preserve.
Spring Hill features a variety of schools: public, technical, charter, and private schools that are easily accessible (within about a 10 minute drive from most communities). There is Pasco Hernando State College – local on campus general education is focused with access to all specialty courses online. https://phsc.edu/.
